TU partners with Orvis Fly Fishing 101

TU and Orvis have partnered to offer a new industry event aimed at introducing people to Trout Unlimited and the sport of fly fishing. The event is called Fly Fishing 101 and will be held every Saturday in July and August at participating Orvis stores and dealers.


Classes are currently scheduled at the following location:

Classes will be held from 8am - 10am on 7/10, 7/17, 7/24 and 7/31 and now, due to the overwhelming response received thus far, will also be held on each Saturday in August. 

Individuals who sign up will meet at the store at 8am and go to a nearby park for 45 minutes of casting instruction and then return to the store for other instructions and conclude at 10am. Equipment will be provided by Orvis.

In addition:  Each attendee will receive a $15 savings card good toward Orvis gear.  Additionally, each group attendee will receive a certificate for a free Trout Unlimited membership - a $35 value
